Today's first match of the season was an away match against Ecko Whitecaps.

The boys have been training for 4 weeks now and very excited for the first match of the season. The match was split into 4 10min quarters which allowed lots of rotation and game time for the team. Everyone played extremely well putting into practice the skills they have learnt.

The team were passing well and very strong on the attack. The boys defended well throughout and when the opposition did break through our goalkeeper Max was on hand to block the shots. Finn was great in front of goal today scoring 5 goals, and Leo was great at the back with his superb tackling and also grabbing 2 goals late on himself. The rest of the boys, Aiden, Arben, Daniel, Harrison, Issac and Bobby all done the team proud getting stuck in and helping with the win.

Final result was 12-1 to Supreme Youth.

Man of the match today was Leo, chosen by Craig Shipman.

Captain for today was Finn.
